Distance education is a popular choice for many students today. After all, what could be more convenient than having followed the course of the College in the comfort of your home (or office or sleep ......) computer?
While distance education has increased dramatically in recent years, it is still a relatively new way of education.
And on the Internet requires a different pedagogy and expectations of teaching in the classroom. Many teachers are reluctant to acquire these skills. But just take a few notes and other documents from the classroom does not experience on the Internet is very effective.

Online education offers the opportunity to join students in different ways - projects, discussions and ideas compared and sharing knowledge with other students. Using as many different ways as possible for students to participate and promote active learning. Without time limits that are present on campus, and with the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss online, and not take advantage of these opportunities leads to good "learning moments" lost.
There is no better way to learn to teach online to see online - So, before you decide to teach online, and take an online course yourself.
You need to understand what it is to learn a distance, without a coach in front of you. You must understand what it is like to have to wait to get answers to your questions. And you will learn more about how they can help you to education technology.

• are willing to spend a little time preparing your study for the first time
• know that becoming an effective teacher online takes some time (often several sessions)
• excited to learn a new skill that can help you!
Some say that there is no alternative to see the faces of students. And others are aware that many students thrive because they have more time to prepare thoughtful answers, and will not be afraid to speak in front of a large group.
